Shannon Mooney
Senior Graphic Designer, Illustrator & Full-Time Cat Herder
Hi! Thanks for dropping by.
My adventure started at the University of North Texas, where I was deep into my Philosophy degree. That all changed when I got my hands on a slightly rogue copy of Adobe Illustrator while working part-time at the Student Union’s Art Center. I was instantly hooked. Philosophy still had its moment at graduation, but by then, I was already captivated by the vibrant world of art. I funded my second bachelor's degree in Fine Arts through a mix of part-time graphic artist gigs and freelance illustration.
My career in graphic design has been a thrilling ride through industries such as beauty, sports, academia, fitness supplements, and consumer packaged goods, always keeping an eye on the latest trends and advancing my skills. As a leader, I've guided teams of designers in executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, seamlessly integrating both print and digital strategies to showcase strong leadership and creative vision.
Off the clock, you’ll find me tinkering on my latest Arduino project, or playing in the dirt of my vegetable garden. My cats? They’re the real bosses, supervising my work, lobbying for snacks, and plotting world domination.
